Kinfolk – yet to open, this is a curious bar cum cafe up the non-Paris end of Bourke St. It promises much, and I’ll be keen to check it out once its doors open.

Is it trying to do too much? A social enterprise where volunteers work behind the counters, they source their food locally, with the intention that it becomes a hub of social activity, social interactions, unlikely meetings and a welcoming comfortable atmosphere. Who doesn’t want that?
